Dior Lucas' profound testimony has impacted the lives of countless women through her resilience and vision; continuing to touch and inspire everyone she encounters. Her journey of determination has not only empowered women but also propelled her from a $40 mobile massage idea with no savings to transforming it into a six-figure business and a million-dollar brand in the wellness and spa industry.

The journey of entrepreneurship started at a very early age for Dior, when she recognized that she wanted more freedom and control over her own schedule and to pursue activities that brought her joy, such as spending time with her family. Now a massage therapist for the past nine years, she has watched her business grow from humble beginnings to a business that continues to experience consistent abundance and growth.
During the Instagram Live segment "In Her Lane" on Women for the Culture's instagram platform, Dior shared specific details about her entrepreneurial journey. She spoke about offering $40 massages to help sustain her family, becoming an award-winning NFL massage therapist, and helping over 1,000 women reach their first $10k in service-based businesses. Dior is not only a powerful woman with a powerful story; she is a woman full of wisdom, undeniable knowledge, and a force to be reckoned with.
What started as Dior giving massages to her coworkers led to her realizing she had a gift that would ultimately inspire her to pursue massage school. However, Dior’s initial pursuit of a career in massage therapy didn’t go as planned, as her research into schools revealed financial obligations that made it difficult to move forward. It wasn’t until 10 years later that she revisited the idea of being a massage therapist. Dior was able to find a school that supported her financial needs; however, she was met with yet another curveball when she learned that she was pregnant with her second child. Being a young mom at the age of 18, Dior embraced being pregnant with her second child while remaining focused on accomplishing her goal. Three months after her graduation and having her second child, she started her business out of what she describes as a “need” due to her husband unexpectedly losing his job and her putting in her resignation while on maternity leave. That is where her mobile massage business started, offering $40 massages to those in her community.

While Dior was extremely proud of her success, she recognized that she was wearing herself thin and began to experience burnout within three weeks of starting. She mentions that two years later, she experienced even more burnout from “working so hard” and not properly taking care of herself as she should, with money being at the forefront of her mind. Dior acknowledges how learning boundaries for self-care while maintaining a thriving business was a challenge for her. She credits her relationship with God for helping her redirect her thought process and reevaluate her game plan within her business. That’s when she added products and low-labor services to her business, allowing her to continue making money while prioritizing her self-care needs. This also transformed into helping women, through her business, Women Who Flow, tackle their business goals without overexerting themselves.
It is clear that Dior is a woman of influence and authority. Throughout her "In Her Lane" Instagram Live segment, this was evident as many of her supporters celebrated her talent, dedication, and unwavering commitment to serving her clients. Dior’s passion and faith have led her to incredible opportunities, such as being a former massage therapist for the New York Jets, hosting wellness events in her community, and continuing to transform lives through her services. Dior leaves the audience with a word of encouragement:
...You have to come to a place of surrender because you really have to let God be in your business. You really have to let Him be in your business because life is going to life, challenges are going to happen, disappointments are going to happen, things are going to happen—but you have to remember that if you did it once, you can do it again, you can do it better, and you can do it faster. And you have to let God be in that process because sometimes we want to bust moves and lead and just make decisions, but when we really allow God to kind of guide us, we know that the way He’s going to guide us, or the way we want our business to go, it will be more long-lasting, and it won’t be short-term.
