In a world that constantly urges people to pick a lane and stick to it, Alaysia Joi Hicks has chosen to embrace the fullness of her multi-dimensional creativity. As the founder of Everything Babes, a dynamic and vibrant community that celebrates multi-passionate women, she is redefining what it means to build a business that aligns with one’s authentic self.
For many creatives, the pressure to niche down can feel suffocating. But for Alaysia, there was a pivotal moment when she realized she didn’t have to choose just one path—she could embrace everything she was and is.
“There was a moment when I woke up unsure of what to post, tired of trying to fit into one lane,” she recalls. “Instead of overthinking, I decided to show up as my full, multifaceted self. I stopped worrying about making sense to others and embraced everything I am. In doing so, I attracted a community of creatives who felt the same—people who refused to be put in a box.”
That decision led to the birth of Everything Babes, a brand and community rooted in self-expression, confidence, and unapologetic authenticity. The idea started with a simple but powerful statement in a video: “When people tell me to pick a niche, and I physically cannot be put into a box.” From there, the community began to form organically.

“I asked my new community what we should call it. One creator suggested Everything Babes, inspired by the Everything Bagel, and it instantly clicked,” she recalls. “That’s when I fully leaned into the brand concept, hired a graphic designer, and continued to build excitement around it.”
Creating a brand is one thing, but building a thriving community is another. One of Alaysia’s proudest moments has been witnessing the transformation of women who were once hesitant to put themselves out there but are now thriving within the Everything Babes space. “Each event has grown in size and impact, creating more opportunities for collaboration, confidence, and creative expression,” she shares. “Seeing this community flourish has been incredibly rewarding.”
One of the most unique aspects of Alaysia’s journey is her approach to life and business through the lens of Human Design. “I’m a Projector in Human Design, which has changed how I move through life and work,” she explains. “Unlike energy types that are always ‘doing,’ Projectors thrive by guiding, observing, and waiting for the right opportunities. Embracing this has helped me lean into my strengths—seeing the bigger picture, curating meaningful experiences, and creating with intention.” Similarly, her role as a Cultural Creator means she isn’t just following trends—she’s setting them, and ultimately paving the way for others to explore their own creative paths.

With a background as a Brand Strategist for Beauty & Wellness brands, Alaysia has always had a keen eye for helping others brand themselves in a way that feels authentic. “I started my career in branding, but as I grew in my journey, I realized the true magic happens when I create for myself,” she says. “I love helping others bring their unique visions to life, especially when it comes to aligning with their multi-passionate nature.”
Her first business venture, The Art of Starting Something, laid the foundation for her current work. Now, through Everything Babes, she continues to empower women to launch their dreams with confidence. Having overcome the overwhelm and struggle of multiple interests that multi-passionate creators often experience, Alaysia has found a system that works for her and now shares it with others.
“I discovered how to structure my thoughts, and that was a game-changer,” she says. “Notion has really helped me transform the beautiful chaos into a streamlined process, and that’s when I saw a huge shift in my ability to get things done.” She's even created the EV Babe Daily Planner on Notion, a tool designed specifically for multi-passionate creators to manage multiple projects while staying in flow.
Everything Babes has been thriving in New Jersey, but now Alaysia is expanding her community into Brooklyn, and she couldn’t be more excited. “The energy in Brooklyn is electric, and it’s a perfect fit for the Everything Babes community,” she shares. “I’m thrilled to collaborate with Michelene, the owner of Openspace, where Everything Babes will be featured in the spring.”
With new events and workshops planned, she’s creating an inclusive space where women can connect, explore new activities, and tap into their creative potential. From yoga classes to sound bowl sessions, the ultimate goal is to inspire and uplift.

With that said, the future of Everything Babes is looking bright and bold. The brand is focusing on collaborations with businesses, hosting exciting events, and expanding its reach. “We’ve got some amazing events lined up, starting with our March 8th meetup at Cosy Cup Library, where we’ll be sipping on Matcha Lattes and celebrating abundance and growth,” Alaysia says. “We’re also venturing into vending opportunities, kicking things off in April with Hey There Montclair, where we’ll be dropping new baby tees for the spring!”
Everything Babes isn’t just a brand—it’s a movement. Through her vision, Alaysia Joi Hicks is proving that women don’t have to choose between their passions—they can have it all. And as she continues to build, connect, and create, she’s lighting the way for others to do the same.
