TV One’s “Savor The City” with Chef Jernard Premieres Tonight

There’s a new flavorsome series coming to TV One that’s full of culinary adventures. “Savor The City” premieres tonight April 3, at 8P/7C, and is hosted by TV personality, chef and author, Jernard Wells. This new television series will explore the rich heritage of some iconic culinary staples, taking viewers along the journey of these tasteful dishes across the country and the history behind it.

Tuesday night, Chef Jernard spiced up the city of Atlanta with an exclusive screening party for the premiere of his new show. Many noteworthy guests were in attendance, including Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams, and TV personality Gary With Da Tea as attendees were able to take a first look of the new show. Tv One’s president Michelle Rice hosted this gathering sharing how Chef Jernard Wells was “handpicked” for this opportunity, highlighting his talent and passion for storytelling through food.

Chef Jernard will take viewers along his cities tour including stops in Napa Valley, New Orleans, Miami and many other places. From the traditions, people and flavors, Savor In The City promises to amplify the cultural connections with iconic dishes. “Savor The City” is produced by Powerhouse Productions, with Rochelle Brown and Sonia Armstead serving as Executive Producers, and Kenneth Colbert as Senior Producer. Susan Henry is the VP, Original Programming and Production for CLEO TV.
